Gulmarg

Pahalgam

It’s located at the convergence of the Lidder River and the Sheshnag Lake, at a height of 2,130 m. One can enjoy the serenity of the saffron fields, the 1100 year old Awantipura Temple, and the scenic Aru and Betaab Valleys when visiting the hill station.
Srinagar
Don’t forget to get yourself photographed with the traditional Kashmiri attire during your canopied Shikara ride in Dal Lake (“Lake of Flowers”). Visit the floating market and explore authentic vegetables, handicrafts, clothing, flowers, saffron, groceries, and Kashmiri products. The best time to visit the market is early in the morning when all the vendors gather in the middle of the lake in boats loaded with items to sell.

River Ghats in Varanasi ahal

Visa, Vaccination, and Travel Insurance
Visa
India has introduced a TVoA, an electronic tourist visa, that can be applied for at a minimum of 4 days before arrival. To check if you’re eligible to apply for one, please visit https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/tvoa.html.
Everyone except visitors from neighboring countries (Nepal and Bhutan) is required to obtain a tourist visa to visit India. The visa is to be applied for online. Along with your application and fee, for an Indian Tourist Visa, you’ll need to submit your passport that’s valid for a least six months and has at least two blank pages, a recent passport-sized photo, and details of your itinerary. In some countries, copies of flight tickets, and proof of residential address may also be required.
Vaccination
Travel Requirements
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance before travelling to India. Travel Insurance provides the necessary financial help at needful times. A comprehensive Travel Insurance policy will cover you against a multitude of travel emergencies as such passport loss, flight cancellation or delay, baggage loss or delay, emergency hospitalization, aircraft hijacking, medical evacuation, emergency dental cover, etc. Therefore, a Travel Insurance policy will provide you with a safety net while you enjoy your travel.

India basically has a tropical climate consisting of three main seasons:

Time Zone
India is 05:30 hours ahead of GMT, 04:30 hours behind Australian Eastern Time, and 10:30 hours ahead of American Eastern Standard Time.
Electricity
Voltage in India is 220 to 240 volts, 50Hz. You will need an adaptor, which can be purchased in India. Hotels usually provide dual voltage razor sockets, 110 to 210 volts, or 220 to 250 volts. Please ensure that you bring multi-voltage chargers rather than 110-voltage chargers with step-up/step-down transformers. These transformers can get too hot and there is a high chance of them exploding. India mostly has round pinholes, so please ensure that you bring a flat-to-round pinhole converter. This is very important, as otherwise, you will have a problem getting mobile devices and other electrical items charged.
Language
The official language of India is Hindi which is spoken with a variety of regional variations and accents, although English is widely spoken in many states in the country.
Credit/Debit cards, and Banking and Exchange Facilities
Almost all credit cards like VISA, Master card, Amex etc. are widely accepted by establishments including hotels, restaurants, shops etc.
Currency exchange facilities are available at banks and some hotels. Most banks are open from 10 am-4 pm from Monday to Friday; however some banks offer extended banking hours. 24-hour ATMs are located in shopping centers and many neighbourhood markets.
Currency
The currency of India is the Indian Rupee (). One Rupee is divided into 100 Paise. Rupee currency notes come in denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, and 2000. For reference, the current exchange rate is US$ 1= Rs. 82.5/-, 1 Euro = Rs. 88.9/- (approx).

You can exchange international currency for Indian Rupees on arrival at an Indian airport. If you are bringing foreign currency over US $10,000, you must declare it to the Indian Custom authorities at the airport upon arrival into the country.
The majority of established shops and markets accept online card payments, but it is always advisable to keep cash in hand.
Local transportation and Private Cabs
The Delhi Metro is a rapid transit system serving Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, and Ghaziabad in the National Capital Region of India. Delhi Metro is the world’s 13th largest metro system in terms of length. Delhi Metro is India’s first modern public transportation system, which has revolutionized travel by providing a fast, reliable, safe, and comfortable means of transport.
If you’re someone who prefers private transport, you always have the option of downloading mobile applications, such as Uber and Ola on your phone for easy tracking, helpful customer service and accurate fare fee predictions. You could choose to pay your driver in cash, or pay online on the app by entering your card details. Alternatively, you are free to approach any auto rickshaws, cycle-rickshaws, e-rickshaws you come across.

- Cancellation requests received 60-90 days before the tour would be issued a refund with a deduction of 25% of the total amount.
- Cancellation requests received less than 60 days before the tour would not be not eligible for a refund.
